Established in 1934, Balderton Bowls Club is a small friendly club that welcomes new members of all ages and abilities, including complete beginners
What membership options are available?
We have three categories of membership:
*League Player Full member (18+)
*League Player Junior member
*Social member (for those who would like to be part of the club but not bowl)
What if I have never played before?
We encourage people new to the game to come along and give it a try. We can provide free coaching from a DBS certified coach with equipment provided if necessary.
What leagues do you play in?
The club is currently playing in the following leagues:
Belvoir League
Country League
Trent Valley League
Newark and District League
Do I have to join a team and play competitively?
No! There is no compulsion to play competitively and you are very welcome to just play socially, either on a Tuesday evening or whenever a match is not being played.

To get more information about the club and the sport of lawn bowls please use the contact form below or pop along on a Tuesday between 6pm and 8pm for a chat. You will receive a warm welcome and if you are interested in having a try all equipment will be provided (just bring a pair of flat soled shoes with you.)
